Farner Barley and Associates was created to offer clients a complete package of land development services. The firm was established in 1987 by Robert (Bob) Farner and Steve Barley. Farner Barley currently has offices in Wildwood, Florida and West Point, GA. Farner Barley maintains a team of highly trained professionals that have a wide variety of professional skills. Farner Barley is proud to employ LEED professional engineers on their team that focus specifically on “green design and engineering techniques”. The Villages is a self-contained active adult community and is the largest single site development in the United States. Here in Alabama, their Chambers County projects include: The Verandas and the Vistas apartment complexes, Riverside Estates and a 9 hole addition to Riverside Country Club, Quail Run Subdivision and the Hampton Inn. Farner Barley is supporting Point University in the design of their athletic facilities in Valley and West Point. Aside from their residential and recreational success, Farner Barley has worked with local Development Authorities in the planning and design of industrial parks and manufacturing facilities. Chosen as the lead project engineers and surveyors for the building and multiple expansions of AJIN USA and Wooshin in the Cusseta Industrial Park, Farner Barley has been successful in developing relationships with some of Chambers County’s largest employers. Because of their professional success, Farner Barley has been a great corporate citizen to Chambers County. In 2011-2012 they served as a Gold Sponsor for the Chambers County Development Authority; and are members of the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce.
