State Legislatures Recognized
On September 10, 2013, the Chambers County Development Authority Board of Directors honored Representative DuWayne Bridges, Senator Gerald Dial, and Representative Richard Laird with plaques of appreciation for their hard work and support in economic development in Chambers County. These state officials were part of a team that created legislation to assist with funding for the Chambers County Development Authority through a tobacco tax. Because of this legislation, the CCDA has the ability to remain competitive in the economic development arena. The Board of the CCDA acknowledges and appreciates the continued support of the legislative delegation of Chambers County and look forward to strengthening that relationship in the future.
